MARCH TOURNAMENT
The March tournament will be a mixed doubles tournament on March 18 & 19, 2000. Please sign up in the clubhouse or ask someone to sign up for you by Friday, March 17 at 7:30 P.M. You may also phone Gary Edwards at home at (619)390-8412 or on his cell phone at (619)992-8412 or email him at garyre@home.com to sign up. The draw will be held at 9:00 P.M. and play will begin Saturday morning at 8:00 A.M.

SAN CLEMENTE CAMPOUT
Our group usually has a campout at San Clemente State Beach in September. The campout will begin this year on Thursday, September 21 for 4 nights. Of course, you may come earlier and/or stay later. The California State Park System will begin taking reservations for September in March, so it is time to call for your reservations. The number for reservations is 1-800-444-7275. Remember to ask for the hook-up area and if you qualify (age 62 and over) ask for senior rates. We look forward to having a great turnout for the beach, cookouts, tennis and fun with good friends! For those of you who don't camp, there are several motels close to San Clemente State Beach if you would like to join us.
BORREGO SPRINGS TENNIS CLUB BANQUET
Our tennis club banquet will be held on Saturday, April 15 at Borrego Springs Resort Hotel & Country Club on Tilting T Drive. Cocktail hour will be 6:15 to 7:00 P.M. Dinner will be served at 7:00 P.M. The price for dinner is $18.80 per person which includes your main dish plus dessert and coffee or tea. Tax & tip are also included. The choices of entrée are stuffed chicken or filet of sirloin. We will have dinner in the Fireside Lounge where there is a bar for those who would like to order wine or other drinks - you will pay for those when you order. The club will send $100 deposit to make our reservation and we will need an exact head count by the March tournament. So please plan to make your reservations and pay for the banquet at the March tournament, March 18 & 19. If you are not planning to attend the March tournament and still want to attend the banquet, send the following form to Trish Azar. Once we contract for a certain number of people, we must pay for that number whether they attend or no.
