MARCH TOURNAMENT
The March tournament will be held on March 17 & 18, 2001. It will be a mixed doubles tournament. If you are planning to play in the March tournament, please sign up by Friday, March 16 at the clubhouse in Borrego Springs. You may also sign up by phoning Gary Edwards at home at 619-390-8412 or emailing him at garyre@home.com before Thursday of that week. After Thursday phone Gary on his cell phone at 619-992-8412 or call Pete & Trish Azar on their cell phone at 619-889-0774. You may also phone one of our members who will be in Borrego and ask them to sign up for you. The draw will be completed by 9:00 P.M. Friday night and play will begin at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday morning.

SAN CLEMENTE CAMPOUT - SEPTEMBER 20-23
It's time again to think about the BSTC annual campout at San Clemente State Beach campground. We plan to be there on September 20 for 4 nights. Of course you may come earlier and/or stay later. The California State Park System will begin taking reservations for September in March, so it is time to call for your reservations. The number for reservations is 1-800-444-7275. Remember to ask for the hook-up area and if you qualify (age 62 and over) ask for senior rates. We hope to have a great turnout for the beach, cookout, tennis & fun with BSTC friends! For those of you who don't camp, there are several motels close to San Clemente State Beach if you would like to join us.
BSTC BANQUET
BSTC will hold its traditional end of the season banquet on Saturday, April 21 at 7:00 P.M. across the street from the tennis center at Palm Canyon Resort. Betty Minkel is helping us with the banquet. Please be prepared to pay for the banquet at the March tournament. The price will be $20 per person which includes choice of top sirloin or rosemary garlic half chicken, salad, vegetables, rolls, dessert & choice of non-alcoholic drink. This price also includes tax & tip. If you wish to order a vegeterian plate for the same price or a child's plate for a child at $10, please let Betty Minkel know in advance.
