TOURNAMENT NEWS
Despite warm weather many members managed to see a good display of wildflowers. Jim Gilloon had to miss emcee duties at the potluck, but Gary stepped in and did another great job. Julie Johnson who was visiting from New Mexico dropped by and performed 5 belly dance routines, and Kon did several skillful yo-yo demonstrations while everyone enjoyed the great food at the potluck. Gary Edwards won the $50 drawing, and Linda Blaemers, one of the original members from 1972, showed up to draw it. SAN CLEMENTE CAMPOUTFor the original date, members of the club only managed to reserve about 4 spaces, before the San Clemente campground was completely sold out. As a result, Carmen has suggested another campout in November. Details may follow by the next tournament.
ANZA TENNIS CENTER NEWS March 28th saw the 4th monthly tennis potluck. After over 4 hours of some great tennis, about 3 dozen showed up for vittles and first-rate entertainment. Steve grilled hamburgers and chicken for the masses, and there were some nice potluck dishes. Many broke out in dance while hearing live renditions of Eagles, Paul Simon, and many other artists. There may or may not be another tennis potluck at the end of this month.

RECYCLED E-MAIL JOKE circulated by Liz, 3-24-2004YET ANOTHER DUMB BLONDE JOKE???A young redhead goes into the doctor's office and says that her body hurts wherever she touches it.
"That's strange," says the doctor. "Show me."
She takes her finger and pushes her elbow and screams in agony. She pushes her knee and screams, then pushes her ankle and screams. Everywhere she touches makes her scream.
The doctor then asks, "You're not really a redhead, are you?"
"No," she says, "I'm actually a blonde.."
"I thought so," the doctor says. "Your finger is broken."
