BSTC BOARD REPORT
Fred Wantland reported that the club has a balance of $5800 in the bank. We have reached an agreement
with the owner of the tennis facility to rent the club for $1200 per tournament. Our group will be the
only ones using the facility -- it will be locked when we are not there. Two of the nets were replaced and
we hope to be able to replace the other two soon. The roof was repaired and the tennis club had been
cleaned before our tournament. We are happy to be in our present location for another season.
DECEMBER TOURNAMENT
The December Tournament will be held on December 4 & 5, 1999. It will be men’s doubles and ladies’
doubles. Please sign up for the tournament by Friday, December 3 in the Borrego clubhouse or have
someone sign up for you. The draw will be held at 9:00 P.M. and play will begin on Saturday morning at
8:00 A.M. Bring a guest and come join in the fun!
1999-2000 MEMBERSHIP DUES
It’s time to pay your Borrego Springs Tennis Club membership dues again. If you have not already paid
your dues for 1999-2000 season, please send a check for $50 per member made out to Borrego Springs
Tennis Club and mail it to:
