Esteban, Miguel, and Mark were the first to arrive and found the ideal plateau for camping, just south of the cannon shooting area found by Cassidy several weeks prior. Jefe showed up just before dark and parked on the edge.

The EDGE

Paco, Miguel, and Mark spend a bit of time at Jefe's edge site. Jefe moved closer to the cannon on Saturday.

A passerby told us all routes were impassable -- Last Chance Canyon was skewered with flooding, and he told us of 2nd hand intel regarding boulders blocking route. Also my 2wd truck would require a helicopter rescue!

Everyone (probably) bugged out this day. Mark left first, followed by Jefe. Miguel, who had run out of transmission fluid on the way up did make it back to San Diego, followed by Paco. Stevie made it back to Utah.
