Started 1st grade at Elysian Heights Elementary School. Actually jumped the gun and went in to 1st grade class early. Was sent back to kindergarten so that the transition could be orchestrated in an orderly manner with the entire class.

Wandered off, while everyone else was swimming in some canal, and got lost on my 6th birthday, where we were visiting a cabin in the woods. After a couple hours, managed to find my way back, but noone had realized I was missing! |
When skool opened, Jef marched straight into the 1st grade room, but was sent back to kindergarden. Those of us eligible for going to 1st grade, including Jef, were marched in and formally installed in the 1st grade. |
