Not sure yet where I spent the whole summer, but probably a good part was spent in Texas or Arkansas? visiting mom. Julie was in Borrego. Here's some pix of her with some guy near the Air-Oasis Motel, which no longer exists.

Gave valedictori speech at Borrego High School graduation. Class size was about 20. Won a few awards, scholarships. Pretty easy in a small class.  Jef just after graduation

| Lived alone in isolated, rented Tubb Canyon house. Mostly used Simca to get to school. I was one of the 2 statisticians (along with Janice Kloeckner) for the baseball team that year. Team wound up with a 19-4 record! | |||||
