Paid $10 in dues for the CRA tennis club. I was treasurer for this club at a later date. I was also involved with the ping pong group, and had become fairly proficient. |
Jef now working in RB was asked by Frank(Flaco) where to camp in Borrego and Jef suggested PegLeg area. Flaco had a beat up old panel truck, went east of there and got stuck, but managed to get out. The following month we went out together and actually camped near Peg Leg.. | ||||||

Completed a short course in the Ada programming language this month. Flaco probably went to cannon party this month. Jef may have first gone following April.  Raymo shooting cannon, perhaps at this cannon party |

Visited my dad's mom, Judith, a week before she died at age 92. Went to her funeral on the 11th. After the services, the family met at Joanne's house in Long Beach to deal with distributing Judith's belongings. |

Bought a blue Centurion bike this month - my 2nd Centurion. I gave it away to one of my friend's sons in 2000. Took it down to Pacific Beach a few times, and looped along the boardwalk. |
About this time, started attending the CRA ping pong club's play night. Got to be pretty good. | ||||||

On the 22nd, flew to Albuquerque for the ACM IEEE Design Automation Conference. Visited Julie in Socorro while there, before returning on the 27th. Flew Southwest. Ate at El Sombrero in Socorro on the 23th, and Gardunos of Mexico on the 24th and 25th. | |||||||

On the 2nd, rented a car and went up to LA to attend CAEM Expo '84 for GD. Stayed at the Hyatt. |
On the 21st, ran in the Tierrasanta Kiwanis 10K run: 46min 27sec. |

Moved to San Diego, started working at General Dynamics, rented a house on the 22nd: 5024 Abuela DR, in Tierrasanta (in Portofino development), walked to work usually (about 2 miles), until work moved up to Rancho Bernardo later in 1984. | |||||||
