Spent this month at home with pneumonia. 2nd round of antibiotics nailed it. |
Moved the bed/desk I got from Alex and Barbara from upstairs to downstairs location where it still resides. |
First of antibiotics was purchased on the 13th, and 2nd (pricier) round on the 20th. | |||||

On the 7th, completed purchase of lot next door. Escrow closed on the 30th. |

Mid month, went on a sierra expedition with Dyer. We backpacked over 2 nights in the Dusi Basin, just west of Bishop Pass. We also toured Bodi and hiked over to Rainbow Falls at Devil's Postpile NM. |
On the 18th, purchased a T-shirt in Mammoth. Dyer and I stayed at a Motel 6 there on that day, as well.  Jef in Bodi

Drove an Olds my neighbor sold me to Julie's house in NM with mom. We built a slide set for Thor. Dad and Leny were also there to help. |
Broke down near Sentinel AZ on way back. We waited in 115° weather at Sentinel, with the local school marm and the local lady of the evening keeping us company on the gas station's veranda. Late that night, we got a tow back to Gila Bend, and the radiator was replaced there the next day. We arrived back in Borrego just 1 day late. | ||||||

On the 23rd, rode the Silverton train from Durango to Silverton and back with Dyer's summer student expedition. |
Went on a 10 mile hike to a lake between Silverton and Durango, and also visited Canyon de Chelley on this trip. |
Purchased '77 Olds from Don D'Arche, one of my neighbors for $600. | |||||

On the 12th, went to CES (Consumer Electronics Show) with Frank, Hank, Don, Craig, et al, in Las Vegas. |
Made final purchases from Barbara Szabo's closeout sale, before she an Alex bugged out of town. | ||||||
