Tierrasanta to Cowles Hike
San Diego River at it's lowest.	Backside of Cowles from Middle Peak	With only about 2 and a half hours of daylight, I left Tierrasanta at 5:30pm. By running downhill, I was able to do this 10 mile loop hike in exactly 2.5 hours. I'm too heavy to do this kind of thing very often, by the way. Hiked the ridge between Pyles and Cowles Peaks, came down the other side (seeing an astounding 200 hikers!). Looped around other side of visitor center on way back, and made it back to car at late dusk.
