Agua Caliente Creek Hike with Jef, Kathy, Stacey, and Holley October 5, 2005
Jef took Kathy et al on a 9 mile hike on the PCT up and down Agua Caliente Creek. Afterwards, Stacey treated us all to Kathy's birthday dinner at La Cocina in Sunshine Summit.

We started hike by having some lunch under the canopy of a large live oak.

At our first crossing of Agua Caliente creek, Holley and Stacey climbed up this natural bridge.

About 1.5 miles into the hike, Kathy spotted and picked up this baby horny toad.

At the endpoint of our hike, we took a break in this shady area with sandy beaches. Holley and Stacey explored further upstream.

On the return trip, Stacey was well ahead most of the time. Here she is as the trail transitions from switchbacks to the level floodplain.

Holley and Stacey interrupted this snake crossing the trail.
