Arizona Trip
Pleasant Valley, Show Low
June 17-18, 1999

Pleasant Valley (or Young), June 17

Me at some 5000' pass between Tucson and Globe
Behind me in photo to left was the largest cottonwood I'd seen at the time (see Bisbee trip for larger one). This picture was too dark, but trunk was about 5' in diameter. No other pix taken, but trip to here is pretty cool (similar to Mokee Dugway).
Show Low vicinity, June 18

Dyer is still sick as a dog at Burrow something campground near Show Low

Wild Iris's near our campsite

Stopped by side of road 20 miles west of Show Low on way home
Here is campsite. I photographed it just after starting to break it down. We had a rain sheild for entryway of tent, as it did rain a little the night before.
