| After hiking a mile from the starting point in the wash 2 miles west of Ant Hill, we found this ridge of sand. |

| This turned out to be a 5 mile loop hike. We found a couple of drizzler attempts (both failed). Nice sand dunes, and a mixture of healthy plants, and fields of exhausted flowers. 3' high desert lily, and 5' high Fremont Pincushions. Also some healthy Dune Sunflowers, and Broomrapes. This was a relatively easy hike. |
