| no pictures scanned in yet | We started this, at Mari's insistence, in the middle of summer. Temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. I was a skeleton by the end of the 16 mile hike on day 1, in Howser Canyon. We got lost a few times on day 2 at Lake Moreno, as the PCT duels with local motorcycle trails. We had a terrific camp on the 2nd nite at Boulder Oaks. Day 3 found us climbing up to Burnt Rancheria Campground on Mount Laguna, where Craig picked us up. This was a great hike! |
