| Flat Cat Canyon is a steep canyon adjacent to Hellhole Canyon. Going is tough, but I made it up to this palm grove. Here I lost Paco's lens cap on the camera I borrowed from him, so I later bought the camera. Lens caps are for wimps, anyway. |
 | Unfortuneately, the sun was behind the mountains by the time I got here. Next time, I'll start early in morning. The canyon appeared to rise even steeper after these palms, but next time I'll want to conquer one of the peaks from the palm oasis, and loop back another way. Southern Borrego Valley can be seen in the background. |
