| Here is our camp on first day. Note the old backpack that my dad gave to me. It was his going away present at his retirement for LA County Dept. of Water and Power. He used it once...but is now only a day-hiker. |
 Paco at our wilderness campsite - we found an existing fire hearth | End point of first day. We went over the wrong pass (snow covered trail), so didn't see Booth Lake until the next day on way back. We took 2 days to return. |
| End of day 2. Frank's shoes were wet, so here he is drying them off. We saw the first backpackers going uphill shortly before this picture. They were seeking the Vogelhang camp, which we never visited. We did stop by Booth Lake earlier this day. |
