near outflow of Harper Canyon | Jef has gone on 3 hikes in the Harper Canyon area. First with Grace, Jim, and some botanist on an Anza Borrego Foundation hike. Then with Grace, Jim, mom on an unsuccessful search for sleeping circles. Then with 2 hikers in the tennis club. Some of the largest barrel cacti in the park are found near the mouth of the canyon. Desert Ironwood grow here in profusion. |
