Thanksgiving baskets:

  • Kelly to talk to distributors and Judy Haldeman about food.
  • We will have to coordinate food as we have no walk-in closet.
  • We need boxes badly to contain the food.
  • We have a list of the people that need the food. They are primarily hispanic, so we are trying to plan the food they would like.
  • We are thinking about rice, beans, turkey breast, tortillas & apples
  • Suggestion made to use Interact to help put the event together. $25 is needed by each member.

Tamale Festival - too difficult to do at Christmas Circle because of the logistics. There is a licence necessary which has a bundle of requirements, including a personal liability for any illness. Because of these reasons, the event has been cancelled.

Sylvana brought up that the Santa Ysabel Casino could be used for an event.

Borrego Springs breakfast: Kathy Johnson brought up the possiblity of Interact enticing traffic into the event with banners.

Ule Nickers - he has been in hospitals and such. Our hopes & prayers are with him.
